JVPFI officially signed up a MOA with AAA (Ateneo Alumni Association) stating that the latter will sponsor a volunteer. Special thanks to Ms. Miel Reyes, AAA president for the support and encouraging their members to support more volunteers. AMDG

Glenda “Bong” Oris of JVP Batch 13 assigned at Sta. Maria Catholic School in Iloilo City is now an author of ” Ayun,O”. It is a series of children’s book. For those who wanted to purchase, the books are available in Kindle edition through Amazon.com.

Go by Giving: a fundraising campaign for Jesuit Volunteers on Mission

The JVPFI National Office launched GBG: Go by Giving (a fundraising campaign for Jesuit Volunteers on Mission) at the Aerie in the Ateneo de Manila University.

The new set of Manila Local Chapter officers also took their oath before the JVPFI President, Mr. Bombim Cadiz. GBG will also be launched soon in the JVPFI Local Chapters. “Go by giving” is part of a quote by Blessed Teresa of Calcutta where she said: “Some give by going, others go by giving.”
